The North Texas Fencing Alliance and the Fencing Academy of Arlington have combined to make fencing more accessible to students in the DFW area. We offer recreational and competition programs for all ages and skill levels. Based on your desire and level of commitment, we can design a program that is right for you. 

 

Company history 
 
The North Texas Fencing Alliance has proudly served the North Texas Community for over 10 years. We have owned and operated clubs throughout the DFW metroplex, currently serving Collin County: Frisco, Richardson, Allen and Plano at our Mckinney Competitive Club location. We also serve the Arlington and Mansfield community with recreational programs.

                                              Head Coach

 
Our coach, Aly Khamis is a former highly internationally ranked competitor with over 20 years of combined fencing and coaching experience. As a native of Alexandria Egypt he was recruited at the age of 12 to join the Egyptian National Team. As a competititor he held top international rankings until moving to the U.S. to coach at the age of 21. Coaching here for the past 13 years, he has taken numerous students from beginners to become national and internationally ranked fencers, earning top standings with the United States Fencing Association. As a concurrent Vice President for the United States Fencing Association North Texas Division he has made it a priority to commit to providing North Texas residents quality fencing instruction.
Developmental Instructors

We are also proud to have Peter Clement and Margaret Nemeth as part of our training staff.


 Peter started his training at the Fencing Academy of Arlington when it first opened and has been with us ever since. His focus is primarily with our beginner and intermediate fencers in the Mansfield area, where he lives with his wife Tracy and his son Tavish, who is also a fencer. Peter's dedication to training our next generation of fencers is key to their successful progression.


Margaret Nemeth 
 Margaret started fencing with our Mckinney  program as our first adult student. She has been with us since we opened ours doors at the Mckinney location in 2008.
She works with our youth and adult beginners,and has been instrumental in developing our adult and youth programs.

 Programs Director

Michele Hampton is the Programs Director for NTFA. She is responsible for community outreach, youth development, tournament planning, Club memberships and class scheduling. Please contact Michele for additional information of classes and programs.
